Accomplishments
PTO purchased the following for Onahan School and our Students
- Running track in the back lot
- Books for the Library
- Athletic banners in the Gym
- Technology
- 40 New APPLE computers plus previously purchased Laptops for the school!
- An LCD projector in each classroom as well as an Elmo brand document camera. The document camera replaces the old overhead projectors. Teachers no longer need to print anything on transparencies. They can place a book, an assignment, or any object under the lamp and project it directly onto the wall, ceiling or white board. The Elmo’s also have the ability to project information right from the internet to further backup the teachers lessons. The feedback we have received from this purchase has been extremely positive. Some teachers have stated that it changed the way they teach!
